Description
Oligopeptide-68 represents the next generation of skin brightening peptides, offering a dual mechanism approach to hyperpigmentation management. It simultaneously inhibits tyrosinase activity (preventing new melanin formation) and blocks melanosome transfer from melanocytes to keratinocytes.
This dual-action mechanism makes Oligopeptide-68 significantly more effective than single-pathway brighteners. By blocking melanosome transfer through PAR-2 pathway inhibition, it addresses the distribution aspect of pigmentation that tyrosinase inhibitors alone cannot target. Results include faster visible brightening and reduced spot recurrence.
Compatible with a wide range of delivery systems and works synergistically with other brightening actives such as niacinamide, vitamin C derivatives, and Nonapeptide-1. Recommended use level: 0.5-2% with excellent safety profile.
COSPEP offers bulk Oligopeptide-68 with comprehensive quality data including HPLC purity analysis (>98%), peptide content determination, and full certificate of analysis.
