Description
Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3, traded as Capixyl, is a premier hair care peptide specifically designed to combat hair loss and promote hair growth. It stimulates the production of extracellular matrix (ECM) proteins around the hair follicle, strengthening the anchoring structures that keep hair firmly rooted in the scalp.
The peptide works through a dual mechanism: enhancing collagen VII and laminin-5 synthesis at the follicular basement membrane, while simultaneously reducing perifollicular inflammation that contributes to telogen effluvium and pattern hair loss. This addresses both mechanical anchoring and biological signaling.
Clinical studies demonstrate significant increases in hair density and reductions in hair shedding after 3 months of regular use. Water-soluble and compatible with serums, shampoos, conditioners, and leave-in treatments. Frequently paired with Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 for enhanced results.
COSPEP provides Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 in bulk quantities with guaranteed purity and batch traceability. Technical data sheets, formulation guides, and stability data are available upon request.
