Description
Tripeptide-29 is a highly effective signal peptide that acts as a potent stimulator of Type I collagen synthesis, the predominant collagen isoform in human skin, bone, and connective tissue. Its small tripeptide structure enables efficient skin penetration and direct fibroblast-receptor interaction.
The peptide activates the TGF-beta/Smad signaling pathway that regulates collagen gene transcription, leading to sustained increases in procollagen production. Unlike growth factors, Tripeptide-29 provides a targeted signal for matrix protein synthesis without proliferation risks.
Clinical evaluations demonstrate significant increases in dermal collagen density after 8 weeks of application, with corresponding improvements in skin firmness and elasticity. Also shows promise in joint health applications where Type I collagen supports cartilage matrix integrity.
COSPEP provides pharmaceutical-grade Tripeptide-29 with complete lot-specific analysis including HPLC purity (>98%), mass spectrometry identification, and residual solvent testing. Bulk discounts and custom packaging available.
